Audio Transcription

As more and more courts move away from having a staff reporter, increasingly the onus is on you to have hearings transcribed when you need them.

Spectrum has many years of experience transcribing audio, both court and client-provided. We have the necessary equipment and expertise to transcribe audio from cassette, microcassette, digital handheld recorders, cell phones (including voicemail), video files, and court-provided recordings. If needed, we can also enhance the audio by removing background noise and isolating speech frequencies.

Once an official transcript has been created, we can also synchronize the audio to the transcript the same way we synchronize video. This allows you to perform keyword searches and cue a specific spot in the audio, as well as play the audio back with subtitles (useful for audio that is difficult to hear or comprehend).
